Along the same lines as the "blood thinner" misnomer I have added (again) a statemtn that warfarin is not a vitamin K antagonist along with an explanation. This is a common misnomer (as shown in the titles of 2 articles in the reference list). Some years ago I removed a statement in the Warfarin article that warfarin was a vitamin K antagonist. I believe I changed the article at that time to also make an explicit statement that warfarin is not a vitamin K antagonist with an explanation. Sorry I cannot find that article now but if someone can work out how to use the search feature and see who removed the statement about warfarin not being a vitamin K antagonist I would like to understand why this was removed. It is unfortunately still common today for articles to describe warfarin as a vitamin K antagonist (try a Google search for "warfarin vitamin k antagonist"). Keeping the statement in the Wikipedia warfarin article that warfarin vitamin k antagonist is incorrect is a way of re-educating those who continue to use this misnomer.
