Translation of name?

I don't think it's completely accurate to say that the name of the park literally translates to "woods by the sea" - "Wald" is in fact woods/forest and "Meer" is in fact sea/ocean in German, but Waldameer doesn't seem like a real German compound. I can remove the word "literally" from the description, but I think the letter a was added because "Waldmeer" sounds odd and isn't quite as catchy a name. Blubewwy (talk) 03:23, 10 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
