Significant publication edit
VentureBeat is a pretty significant publication, with its main competition being TechCrunch, GigaOM, etc. Please edit if there are important things that I've missed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Klezmer41 (talk • contribs) 02:07, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Out of date/Conflict of interest edit
Hi there. I'm VentureBeat's executive editor, and I'm going to update a few things on this page that are out of date. I'll be sure to include links to relevant sources wherever possible. Please contact me if you have any concerns or objections. --Dtweney (talk) 18:30, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
This page is very out of date edit
Dylan Tweney (that's me) hasn't worked for VentureBeat since July 2015, and both Jolie O'Dell and Dan Hsu left the site in 2014. Other aspects of this entry, including the list of events, are also badly out of date.

editoral section edit
I removed that section as it's not good for a wiki page to be expanded with such blocks of information
Editorial edit
The VentureBeat website comprises a series of distinct news "Beats": Big data, Business (general news), Cloud, Deals, Dev, Enterprise, Entrepreneur, Media, Mobile, Marketing, Security, Small Biz, and Social. In addition, the site includes a semi-separate publication, GamesBeat, as one of its major sections. GamesBeat focuses on video games and the videogame industry. 大阪市大阪 (talk) 15:58, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
