Pending changes protection edit

NinjaRobotPirate, hope you don't mind me tapping you as our resident WikiProject Film admin, but can you apply pending changes protection to this article? There have been several disruptive edits by various IPs to change the opening sentence to claim the film is heretical. It does not appear that any one IP can be blocked, but I'd rather not close off the article to everybody. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 15:38, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

I set pending changes for a week. That's a little light, but sometimes it discourages casual vandals. Let me know if it continues. From looking at the IP addresses, I could probably do a range block if it gets bad enough. Or I could extend the protection easily enough. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:55, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! :) Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 15:56, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
I, myself, am an 'IP' address (and occasionally dissent or argue, but not intentionally, I assure you). Nonetheless, even tho I would be prohibited from editing the article, directly, I don't have a problem with making this article "semi-protected" so that only registered users can edit it. (Shame that idiot vandals exist, but, just to be fair, I do not use a registered account because registered users are also quite argumentative, and do not feel welcome as an actual, registered editor, so while 2 wrongs do not make a right, the vandals are often provoked by registered users who are bullies in some cases. Just saying.) Anyhow, I had a question - below. Thank you if anyone can answer it.96.59.130.139 (talk) 09:41, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
