Was it complete enough, with enough details ?No i am a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota Oyate my name is Elwood GreyBuffalo jr.You have left out a very important piece of our History Along with the Photo of Chief Red Iron You should have a Portrait from the cover of The Odessy of Chief Standing Buffalo he was our Head Principle Chief of All the Dakota Bands and was the 1 who sighned the 1868 Peace Treaty Representing All the Dakotas.Chief Standing Buffalo of the Sisseton Dakota was a Peace Chief as well a Respected Warrior Belonging to an Elite Warrior Society known as The No-Flight society.When the outbreak accured He was west Buffalo Hunting with Chief Red Iron,we kept our promise of Peace!! They hung 38 of my ancestors, the real killers never saw Justice!!Our People saved 350 immigrant lives hidding them from their hostile relatives and released them unharmed,Chief Standing Buffalo took his close relatives into canada and dureing our ppl's imprisionment and mass baptism Half Breed Gabriel Renville was made Chief by US Goverment, General Sibley will be post humasly brought to Justice as well as Govenor Ramsey for Insiteing Hate and Acts of Genocide there is no statue of limitations for crimes against Humnity!!
How can we make it better ?Yes Include This book written by the minnesota Historical Society Odessy of Chief Standing Buffalo.

I'm adding the "no footnotes" tag. The article is fairly informative, although some of the assertions should definitely be supported by something verifiable. With the tag, newer users that may have knowledge will be given the heads up to be bold and improve the article.TjoeC (talk) 18:52, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
