John Gofman, [[FUD

Gofman might have claimed that "it is impossible to estimate" on its effects, but all I see is, him spreading FUD(fear uncertainty and doubt). As one can indeed make an estimate, with upper and lower bounds. Just like you can make an estimate on every other release, ever. So unless someone can convince me otherwise, I'll be removing the Gofman nonsense. Boundarylayer (talk) 10:48, 27 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Modelling

edit

"If the hormesis model turns out to be accurate, it is conceivable that current regulations based on the LNT model will prevent or limit the hormetic effect, and thus have a negative impact on health..." How so? the largest sources of controllable artificial radiation were the nuclear bomb tests, and they barely had an effect on the average exposure compared to natural background. what source of radiation that could have this effect is being suppressed? 62.99.176.46 (talk) 02:25, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
