The article currently reads as a marketing brochure, and after checking past edits, I see some criticism of the mall was edited out and replaced with sociodemographic gobbly-goop. Redneb 17:11, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should we mention the IMMENSE TRAFFIC PROBLEMS around the mall, that it partly caused...?

This article has conspicuous spelling and grammatical errors which make it look grossly unprofessional. Also, is it necessary to mention that shoppers will be asked to remove their pets if they "urinate or defecate" within the mall? And does this whole explanation of the pet-friendliness of the mall merit its own paragraph? mal7798 10:04, 01 January 2007

Major Problems

edit

This article, as it currently stands, is not informative whatsoever. Just to name a few problems:

  • Too selective about listing retailers who currently occupy the inline space of the center. The standard is to either list all current tenants in a roster, or simply let the reader access the mall's website for more information.
  • The portion on Limited Brands is speculative and accusatory, with no supporting references. Should be deleted.
  • Section on traffic is totally unnecessary, with serious neutrality issues and unsubstantiated claims. Unless a traffic study or other referenced source can be found, this should be deleted.
  • The whole part about security and pet friendliness should either be scaled down to one sentence or deleted entirely. This is not a listing of rules and regulations, it's an article about the design, development, history, economic impact, and positioning of a shopping center.

Lots of work to do! Hopefully some others will help me develop this article into something more proper.akronpow 22:49, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree with everything except the Limited reference. It is true that Limited Brands refuses to put any stores in the mall, as it is in direct competition with Easton. I am not sure if this can be referenced, however. At least it should be toned down as it is very accusatory. I will try to work on this article if I get around to it. Until then, someone else is free to work on it. Polypmaster 01:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
