Several countries, including China, Kenya, and Rwanda, have implemented bans on plastic bags to reduce plastic waste, including microplastics. Several countries, including France and Canada, have introduced regulations to limit the use of microplastics in various products, such as cosmetics, cleaning products, and food packaging.
