NPOV

edit

Current version seems pretty NPOV to me, dont see anything "gushing" there. I think its very POV to simply dismiss Fulci as a gore-shock guy, especially as most of his films were not splatter-based. see the external link at the end for academic critical examination of his works. He's *a lot* more influential than you might expect (Kill Bill Vol 2 for example). Niz 18:40, 31 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the section about Zombie II not being influenced by George Romero's Dawn of the Dead. All my reading on the matter would seem to indicate that that is the exact way that Zombi II was intended - the very title alone indicates the film is a sequel to Dawn of the Dead, which was called Zombi in Italy. If the respondent has a citation that indicates otherwise then I am interested to see it.--Chickenspanker 02:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Photo

edit

I tried adding a pic in Life & Carrer, but att it did was show the file name instead of pic itself...even if I copy/paste the proper sentence from Italian article. PanzerschreckLeopard 19:56, 9 November 2011 (EST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.30.122.14 (talk)

Filmography

edit

This chart looks really funny, to have both colored squares (indicating his role in a film) and the word "Yes" (although there are no squares with the word "No"). I think that the "Yes"s should be deleted, the color is sufficient to indicate that he wrote or directed a film. But I thought I'd post here before deleting anything. Maybe it's better for the color-blind to also include the word "yes", but when you mention it, it does look a bit strange to only have squares with "yes" and none with "no". /Jiiimbooh » TALKCONTRIBS 17:16, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re-did filmography

edit

I took the time today during some isolation to re-do Fulci's filmography here. It was basically a mess of extrenious titles, extra information, and unsourced bits and bobs. Not all films have clear earliest release dates, so it became a bit difficult. But I did my best with what material I had on hand. If anyone can fill in the gaps of fulci's years, then please do. If you can add a year, please add the details to the respective articles too.Andrzejbanas (talk) 01:25, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Late 1980s Fulci

edit

I re-vamped some of Fulci's career in the late 1980s. It's not clear when Aenigma was filmed, but I'd assume it was before he went to the Phillipines as he was very ill when he returned from it. I included parts on his illness, his credits where he did no real work on the film. Andrzejbanas (talk) 02:38, 10 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
