Swiss normandy edit

I've been linking and translating a few minor articles about Orne and Normandy; I have a trouble should it be Swiss Normandy or suisse normande? I don't know and on French Wikipedia they don't know either

Bet wishes the articles are stubs but they are on the French too SimonTrew (talk) 02:25, 15 April 2009 (UTC) ada —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.49.203.189 (talk) 09:01, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

As the french « Swiss Normande » means literally “Normanic Switzerland” (think: Switzerland in Normandy), you must decide if you prefer the sound from the meaning. But “Swiss normandy” reads completely false to my German brain.

Suggested merge: History of Lower Normandy edit

Reasons: Better coverage in Lower Normandy#History than in the article. Stub unreferenced since 2005 creation. Since 2016 Basse-Normandie is no longer a region, so all information is history. Turtlecrown (talk) 09:39, 20 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
