Fair use rationale for Image:LookingforMrGoodbar.jpg

edit

Image:LookingforMrGoodbar.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gary

edit

The plot summary contains an error. Gary, the last man that Theresa picks up and who ultimately murders her, did not really have a pregnant girlfriend in Florida. It is heavily implied that he is lying in order to mask his conflicted sexuality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.33.208.179 (talk) 09:24, 30 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree, we certainly have little reason to believe that Gary is married. I edited the sentence to clarify that he only TELLS Teresa that he is. (I know this conversation should be in a different section, but I don't know how to create a new one and move it.) 174.63.113.232 (talk) 15:28, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Recent episodes of iZombie (Looking for Mr GoodBrain) and The Simpsons (Looking for Mr GoodBart) are presumably references to this? User:NoseyNick —Preceding undated comment added 01:29, 20 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Has anyone involved in the making of the Madonna "Bad Girl" video actually cited this movie as an inspiration? Or has a user just noticed similarities between the two? I know one of her videos from the early '90s referenced "The Night Porter", so it's not impossible, but this needs a better citation. widely unavailable

"...widely unavailable on the home video market."

Widely unavailable? It seems like an odd turn of phrase. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:301:777C:C750:F56C:90B7:9851:D867 (talk) 05:04, 10 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've turned it out as I added an entry on home video availability after discovering it had in fact been released on DVD
