Better map requested

KE-Lamu.png

I added {{reqmapin}} even though File:KE-Lamu.png is already part of the article. The problem is that the existing map does a horrible job at depicting the Lamu Archipelago. An example of the right way to do it can be found at http://lamuheritage.org/Pics%20for%20website/webpics/map.jpg, the map used at http://lamuheritage.org/Lamu%20Archipelago.htm; that map actually depicts the islands of the archipelago at a reasonable scale, with an inset map of Africa that highlights where Kenya is. IMHO the inset should be just of Kenya and part of Somalia, with enough detail that you can tell where the Kenyan mainland is relative to the islands. 67.101.5.148 (talk) 13:25, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Lamu Archipelago. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Shirazi people

edit

Shouldn't the Shirazi people be mentioned in this article, if only briefly, in order to help make this article more properly encyclopedic? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 23:20, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
