"In 1998, Hughson returned to national sports broadcasting, joining CTV Sportsnet (now Rogers Sportsnet) as their main NHL play-by-play commentator alongside Craig Simpson. A year later, he left radio and began working on the Canucks regional television broadcasts on Sportsnet Pacific, alongside Ryan Walter. Since 2002–03 his partner has been John Garrett."

Sportsnet isn't a national broadcast, it's a regional broadcast.

  • Sportsnet had national AND regional broadcasts back then. From 1998 to 2002, Sportsnet had the national cable contract for the NHL in Canada (instead of TSN) . . . every Tuesday night an NHL game went across all 4 Sportsnet channels and was called by Hughson & Craig Simpson. It was called "Labatt Blue Tuesday Night Hockey on CTV Sportsnet". In the studio was Darren Dreger, Nick Kypreos, Greg Millen (1st year), and John Garrett (years 2 through 4).Djob (talk) 08:18, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Shouldnt all his work with EA Sports be noted? He has been in so many NHL games as a commentator I think it should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.79.217.115 (talk) 19:50, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
