Assessment

edit

I took a look at this article, and it appears to meet the criteria for at least a B-class article. Well done! -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:31, 2 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to echo the words of my colleague, above. As the main editor has hidden his or her light under the bushel of an IP address we can only send our congratulations into open air, but this is a fine piece of work, and I hope we can coax the anonymous editor into setting up a Wikipedia user name and joining our community fully. We need editors of this quality. Tim riley talk 18:16, 2 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Waste Land

edit

The second sentence of the lede says "He is now best remembered for his scathing 1923 review of T. S. Eliot's The Waste Land" but there isn't anything said about it afterward. Was the review taken seriously? How did it affect other critics' thoughts? What did Eliot think of it? Did Lucas ever have a change of opinion about it? See new subsection 'Lucas and Eliot' in Lucas article.

Extracts from letters to newspapers

edit

UK newspaper letters copyright is 70 years - i.e. letters from the 1930s are now out of copyright. The letters from which extracts are quoted were never published in book-form. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.1.110.149 (talk) 12:21, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
