Yugo Cruisers

edit

Later in the Film, Police Cruisers are Yugo's!

I don't think that's correct. Rash's car is actually a Dodge/Plymouth Omni. I'm not certain about the others though, I'll have to rewatch the film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.54.129.25 (talk) 18:57, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Drowning Mona DVD.jpg

edit

Image:Drowning Mona DVD.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:38, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Clutch

edit

I notice that somebody noted that Mona used the clutch when backing out instead of the breaks. Later when she's driving off the cliff, she tries the clutch to no avail.

What I'm suggesting: The blurb should be a goof, since the clutch shouldn't have worked when she was backing out of the driveway. ~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.211.156.10 (talk) 03:50, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Inspiration/Reimagining/Homage

edit

Drowning Mona is a not-so-subtle homage (quite possibly even reimagining) of the Kurosawa film "Rashomon." The plot of the movie is similar in that each character has their own version of the same event, and most if not all of them had a motive for killing someone. Additionally, the Police Chief played by Danny DeVito is named "Rash." Would this be worthy to put into the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.54.129.25 (talk) 19:00, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
