small details

edit

regarding the murder of Charles' work friend, surely the car belonged to him, not Charles - otherwise the police would've had Charles down as the main suspect? pomegranate 19:47, 8 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Another thing, Charles doesn't shoot LaRoche, the new mark who is confused and worried, attempts to leave, Charles tries to stop him knowing he will only run into Dexter in the hall, they struggle and 'Lucinda' gets accidentally shot. LaRoche then pulls a second gun he had and empties the clip into mark. Dexter then attempts to burst in whereupon Charles shoots LaRoche, and when finally Dexter brakes in kills Dexter. Which is probably too much detail for wiki, but is an entirely different sequence of events to that currently described. 62.56.72.72 (talk) 00:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Lucinda Harris"

edit

Jennifer Aniston's character pretends to be Lucinda Harris, but it's shown that this is a con. The Avery-Price receptionist says that she is actually Lucinda's temp, "Jane", but this name is likely a fake. I haven't watched the movie in a bit, but I don't believe that the character's true name is ever revealed. SuperMachine 18:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's correct, and the main article could probably be improved by making more of the central plot: the boy-meets-girl theme is really a boy-meets-girl-who-is-impersonating-another-girl theme. The plot description in the article suggests that there was a mutual attraction, and so on, when in fact the whole affair was staged. The scene in which the lead character finds "Lucinda Harris'" name on the company website is meant to hint that he too was suspicious (though, as a plot detail, it's the viewers who should be suspicious, as there is, conveniently, no photo of Harris on the site). Hmmm. I think Charles looks up her firm's website simply in order to get her phone number and to find out more about her - as you might! i.e. I don't think there's anything on screen to suggest he's at all suspicious at this stage. Bhasi23 (talk) 10:39, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
