Aren't We Missing Key Infrastructure?
edit- THAT history is totally ignored in the article.
- I know from other research there were no less than 7 Class I railroads operating in the Wyoming Valley in the 1890s. Most of those traversed THIS COUNTY!
- This tendency to list roads and totally ignore the historic role of Rail Transport in the development of today's towns and unincorporated 'populated places' (Likely were once rail stops!) REALLY HAS TO END.
- There are supposedly five railroads (a mention) in Bloomsburg and Sullivan Railroad, yet the county which was clearly important in Transportation Infrastructure for the peak years of the early Industrial Revolution ignores the topic.
Disgusted by the ignoring of HISTORY folks--the foundations of TODAY. Please do better. Search "History of Columbia County, Pennsylvania" will almost certainly show up references. Pennsylvania state historians, historical societies, and the universitys all often wrote or commissioned such works even as early as the 1860s. // FrankB 15:20, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
No attractions?
editThere are no lists of attractions. Knoebels Amusement Resort is partially in Columbia County. It straddles the Northumberland County border. Bill S. (talk) 12:53, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
