Austrians as a nation should also contain Carinthian Slovenes, Burgenland Croats and other minority groups

While I am happy that the rather stupid discussion about Austrian ethnicity has been settled by just focusing on Austria as a nation in the article, I think it still does not a good job on representing the full diversity of this group: right now the article only talks about German-speaking Austrians and while those make up a majority of the Austrian population, there are multiple indigenous groups in Austria, which do not speak German as their first language, are Austrian citizens and are protected under Austrian constitutional law.

If there is no opposing opinion, I'd like to change the article to reflect those groups as well as immigrant groups with large numbers of naturalized Austrians. --Vierstern (talk) 20:32, 14 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
