Intro expansion and use of images edit

I spent an hour or so importing and translating parts of the Latvian Wikipedia article, aided a bit by running it through the Google translator. Google did a fair-to-poor job of it, partly due to the idiomatic phrasing of the original, requiring the skills of a bilingual Latvian/English speaker to extract the meaning. If anyone else feels like finishing the intro translation, go to it; otherwise, I'll take another stab at it when time permits. Equivalent English Wikilinks in the translated sections would be helpful, too. It would also be good to see if the images used in the Latvian Wikipedia could be brought over to Wikimedia Commons, if licensing permits. —QuicksilverT @ 17:04, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
