Reception

edit

A critic from Behindwoods wrote "Medhai is quite obviously built around Ramarajan and his comeback. One only wishes the film had got a more contemporary story, treatment and better technical aspects. Director MTG Saravana definitely had to pay more attention to all aspects of the movie".[2] A critic from The New Indian Express wrote "The film is neither too exciting, nor a great disappointment. Only, the whole feel is that of a decades old film".[3]
