Mason Thames is an American actor. He is best known for his starring role in Scott Derrickson's horror film The Black Phone (2021).[1]

Thames was featured in three episodes of the first season of the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind in 2019.[2][citation needed]

Thames played the lead role in Scott Derrickson's horror film The Black Phone (2021),[3] alongside Ethan Hawke.[4][5] The role garnered him widespread acclaim, and the film received generally positive reviews from critics.[6] He also featured as a Young Walker in the first two seasons of Walker.[7][8]

Thames will next star alongside Mel Gibson in Boys of Summer, an indie feature directed by David Henrie.[9] He will also star in the high school comedy Incoming,[10] and in a live-action adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon as Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, alongside Nico Parker, who would be playing Astrid Hofferson.[11]
