Deborah Ajibola Abiodun, popularly known as "Kante," is a Nigerian professional women's footballer. She was born on November 2, 2003, and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria.[2]

She started her professional journey with Rivers Angels Football Club in the Nigerian women's premier league, and her performances caught the attention of scouts, which led to a full scholarship offer from the University of Pittsburgh’s women's soccer team in the United States.[2]

2023 World Cup

In 2023, at age 19, Abiodun made her FIFA Women's World Cup debut for Nigeria against Canada.[3] She received a red card during stoppage time after a VAR review. This was the first red card of the World Cup 2023.
