About 15 years ago a virus attacked humans so that those infected acted violently. Zidik had woken up to see his sister attack his mother and his father had sacrificed himself and Zidik managed to escape.

Then Zidik was brought up in an orphanage and run by Kak Lily who is a cruel person. Zidik befriends another orphan named Zooey. One day, Zidik was kicked out of the orphanage for disobeying Aunt Lily's orders and after that he never saw Zooey again.

After growing up Zidik worked with Hassan who took him to work after finding Zidik who lived alone on the street. In fact, they are both stuck in the past, where Hassan cannot accept the loss of his wife to the virus and often forgets that she is dead, while Zidik continues to remember his memories with Zooey.
