Zard[3] (Persian: زرد) is a village in Qazi Rural District of Samalqan District, Samalqan County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,291 in 588 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,363 people in 718 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,472 people in 779 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
