Good balance

I commend the authors of the article for giving appropriate weight to critics of the project, and for shedding further light on a story that I had thought had been over and done with. Few dedicated Wikipedians monitor the mailing lists, I suspect, and it is of great credit to the contributors to the Signpost that they report on prurient project discussions wherever they occur. "Prurient"? I don't think that word means what you think it does. I'm scratching my head over which one you meant, & the best I can come up with is "relevant", which looks nothing like what you wrote. -- llywrch (talk) 16:59, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Unless I'm mistaken, "prurient" means "arousing or appealing to sexual desire". There's nothing sexual in the story, nor in the mailing lists (well, not very often).
