subheadings edit

The nav template has been redesigned with new subheadings and show/hide functionality. This seems to be a good improvement and consolidates some other older nav templates in the project. One nitpick is the section "Editing Tips", which has a mish mash of items including several items that should probably be under a separate "Guidelines" section. The tips section should then probably be renamed "Editing Resources" or similar, and should probably include a couple other pages (i.e. the resources page). I'd make these changes myself, but the new design uses more complex coding that I'm not familiar with and don't want to mess up. -- LJ  07:44, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I added some comments to the template, which hopefully explain things a little better. Really though, it's just seven collapsible tables stacked on top of each other. The trickiest part is the switch at the beginning of each section telling it when to be open. If I were to add in another section, I'd simply copy and paste one section, add in the other pages, and then add the full page names to the switch. —Fredddie 11:45, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'll take a look later on, thanks for doing that. I'm not versed in the wiki coding, and didn't understand what the switch did. -- LJ  19:15, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
