Do the individuals involved know of any encyclopedia or dictionary type sources which might exist which might be useful in determining how those sources structured any content of this type? John Carter (talk) 17:06, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

- Are there, basically, overview reference works of any sort known to the school, with slight preference to some of a broadly encyclopedic type, which could be used by the visiting scholar or school to indicate which are the most important and/or clearly notable specific subjects in the field, presumably including histories, area-specific histories, biographies, specific works, specific events, etc., maybe along the lines of one of the pages at Category:WikiProject prospectuses, which would help someone in developing the related content in a well organized way? - @John Carter: Library staff at USF could likely help the Scholar to identify important subjects in a particular field, but the topics as stated are broad areas that the Scholar is not expected to build in some complete sense but just areas to work on. In an ideal scenario, an editor who likes to work on, say, articles related to rhetoric, would be empowered by USF's resources in order to better improve rhetoric articles and/or to improve articles he or she would not have been able to without the sources. If you were the Scholar and you wanted guidance on topics to work on, I think it's safe to say they would be more than happy to help.
