Working definitionEdit

"The TV Show "Meerkat Manor" and directly related items." --PresN (talk) 06:49, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

"The television series Meerkat Manor and directly related topics. AnmaFinotera (talk) 07:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Vital improvementsEdit

The topic currently meets all FT criteria perfectly, so there are no vital improvements needed. AnmaFinotera (talk) 07:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Potential improvementsEdit

The main article and both lists are all featured, so there doesn't appear to be any room for improvement. AnmaFinotera (talk) 07:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Get Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins to FA, if it is added to the topic. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 17:58, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Done. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:37, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Possible additionsEdit

If it can be brought up to standard, the Kalahari Meerkat Project could possibly be a topic for inclusion, as the series does showcase the meerkats being studied in the project and can only do so on with the project's support. AnmaFinotera (talk) 07:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Tim Clutton-Brock could be added for his involvement in the Kalahari Meerkat Project - rst20xx (talk) 17:48, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I don't think he could, as he was famous in his field long before this. Not sure he meets the "clear similarity with each other under a well-defined topical scope." For KMP, the problem is getting it to a GA level. There really isn't a good standard for such articles as few such projects even have articles :-P -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 17:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins, the film prequel, has been created and is currently at B and a GAN. If passes GA, will nominate for inclusion in the topic. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 08:56, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Members of the crew (if any have articles!) and the narrators in various countries could be added - rst20xx (talk) 17:48, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

No, those wouldn't be specific to the topic and would make the FT excessively long. Narrators and crew aren't major parts of the series. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 17:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Well obviously you could only create crew articles for those members notable enough to have them, which would cut the number down substantially, but anyway, it was just a suggestion - rst20xx (talk) 19:13, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I meant even those that could meet BIO aren't only about MM :) Though really, except Clutton-Brock, only some of the announcers meet bio. There are some which likely are noted in their field, but don't have the RS to go with it. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 19:38, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
