Relief map edit

This relief map of the US is the standard map for use in the protected area infobox for national protected areas. Add the coordinates of the protected area in the infobox and a dot will appear on the map in the infobox within the article.

Vector-based map edit

Here is an SVG locator, in Wikipedia-standard colors, that can be used with Infobox protected area. The template has the capability to add a locator dot to this base image without modifying it. For articles (such as a long trail or parkway) where a dot is not relevant, one can download this image and modify it. If you do not have the capability to modify an SVG image, you can request a map.

Raster-based map edit

You can use this map to show where a park is located. Just put a small red dot on it. Right click on it and do a 'save as'.
