Project banner edit
The {{WikiProject Cricket}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

- General parameters
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- A-Class – "pass" or "current" or "fail" if the article is or has been subject to A-class review.
- B-Class-n – "yes" if the article meets a criterion for B-class quality status.
- X-task-force – "yes" if the article belongs to a project task force.
- portal – if the article is used in the featured article queue of the Cricket Portal, the subpage number of its entry.
- collaboration-candidate – "yes" if the article is currently a candidate for the project's Collaboration of the Fortnight.
- past-collaboration – if the article was previously a Collaboration of the Fortnight, the dash-separated dates of the collaboration period; must be left blank otherwise.
- peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
- old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.
- orphan – "yes" if the article is not currently supported by an Australian WikiProject.
- Wikiproject specific parameters
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
