Welcome to the WikiProject Baseball: League and team article standardaization task force! --CPAScott 20:32, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Purpose

To standardized all North American baseball league and team articles, including standard use of infoboxes, table of contents, and format.

Scope

This project will cover all North American professional baseball leagues and teams. Amateur and foreign leagues will not be included. For the time being at least, only leagues officially designated as "major" or "minor" are in scope, along with a select group of independent leagues. A listing of all leagues currently in scope is indexed at User:CPAScott/Template01. A listing of all teams currently in scope is indexed at User:CPAScott/Template02..

As a fair amount of effort has already been put into major league team pages, this project will start with the minor leagues.

Minor leagues

A new minor league article template exists at User:CPAScott/Template04. A new minor league infobox template exists at User:CPAScott/Template04a.

UPDATE: The template has been moved to the template page. See Template:MiLB league infobox.

A new minor league team article template exists at User:CPAScott/Template05. A new minor league team infobox tempalte exists a User:CPAScott/Template05a.
