These are some of the open tasks that anyone can help with:
- Check the maplinks of Upazila articles and fix where the link is dead.
With the expansion of Bānglā articles on Wikipedia, a need for a standard for spelling and transliteration is becoming obvious. Anyone interested in such a project is requested to join this project. A Wikipedia:WikiProject Bengal has been created to sort the issues involving West Bengal and the Bengali language.

- Restructuring Category:Bangladesh with special attention to Category:Bengal - follow Wikipedia:Naming conventions to create a modular and hierarchy based category structure.
Creation of a naming convention for Bangla words: scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Bengal now- Completion of all the stubs and creation of stubs out of non-existent articles
- Addition of images to all-text articles (to avoid their being too boring)
Creation of a Bangla Project page: scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Bengal now- Have some nice maps of Bangladesh and major cities posted. I think there are some good maps available from BD govermnet's website....as well as the CIA Factbook site
- Addition of some articles on Major Bangladeshi Disasters like Floods and Cyclones
- Pages on Festivals of Bangladesh (Pohela Boishakh, Eid, Durga Puja etc)
- Tons of images. I found some on the web, but not sure on copyright.
- Bangladeshi Games. Including Ha-du-du (Kabadi), other old games (Daria bandha, bouchi etc). Also modern games....cricket, shooting etc.
