Seems redundant now, the two templates that are specified to be used in conjunction with this, {{fair use replace}} and {{nonfreereplace}}, were redirected long ago. If a file doesn't meet WP:NFCC#1 due to it being replaceable with free media, the file should be nominated for dated speedy deletion with {{Di-replaceable fair use}} rather than merely suggesting that it should be replaced. If someone wants to add a caption as well, they can use {{Deletable image-caption}}. Dylsss(talk contribs) 22:47, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nomination and Wikipedia's current policy for media, particularly image replacement, justify deletion. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 00:16, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment when a template is nominated for deletion, all transclusions indicate that is has been tagged for deletion. Is there such a facility for images? This template seems to fulfill that function -- 67.70.27.105 (talk) 06:52, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
{{Deletable image-caption}} and {{FFDC}} fulfill that function, this template does not seem to do what you are describing because it only suggests that it should be replaced and it is only relevant to one part of our file speedy deletion criteria/non-free content criteria. All of these tables are used in only one article. There is no need to have them in separate templates. Should be merged with the article and deleted. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 16:55, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is currently an orphaned template that basically duplicates the content on both Syracuse Orange men's basketball § Retired jerseys and Syracuse Orange football § Retired jerseys. It was created before Template:Excerpt was implemented, so that or any other labeled section transclusion could be used instead if needed. Zzyzx11 (talk) 16:05, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete The Syracuse Orange men's basketball and football team articles with the subsection for the retired numbers is where the retired numbers should be. Not on a separate template. Should follow the standard for retired numbers on other sports teams' articles. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 00:16, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
