Template:Pulmonic consonants with audio (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

The first, {{infobox IPA base}}, is now replaced by {{Infobox IPA}}. Has no uses in mainspace anymore. The two /sound subtemplates are put out of use because their main template uses the new {{IPA soundbox}} instead of old {{IPAsound}}. The fourth, {{Pulmonic consonants with audio}}, is a under-developed functional copy of {{IPA pulmonics audio}}. A test, and not used. This one also uses old IPAsound. Together, deletion is preferred above maintenance into using the newer IPA soundbox template.
Note on dependency: all these four templates depend on {{IPAsound}}, which itself is now deprecated and at TfD since January 27. Clean and easy deletion implies that one first deletes the dependent templates, and then the master (i.e. IPAsound). DePiep (talk) 17:13, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another one of these bizarre catch-all "<anything>-boxes". Partially superseded by {{Music of Canada}}. But the point is, it's not useful. No scope for it to be used.
