Passport edit

- It looks good overall. I didn't see any mention of passport issues for people with dual nationality. There is a certain amount of redundancy between the "Governmental restrictions" and "Limitations on acceptance of passports" sections. You may want to consolidate those. Also the contents of the "Governmental restrictions" section, if retained as is, needs to be in alphabetical order by country to eliminate any possible issues of bias. - I would like to see the history section expanded. There most be more to say than what is here. The "Limitations on acceptance of passports" also needs work. Surely Brazil isn't the only nation not to accept passports from countries it doesn't recognize. The Tonga section also needs some more explanation. - SimonP 01:06, July 31, 2005 (UTC)
- I have a proble with the following line:
The NAFTA countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico, although after a recent announcement, all persons entering the United States, including U.S. citizens, will be required to have a passport, even from Canada and Mexico, starting as early as December 2005.
This may not necisarliy be true. I live on the U.S./Mexico border, and I will tell you that this measure has met with fierce resistance from residents in both El Paso, Texas and Cuidad, Juarez, to the point where the Department of Homeland Security and the reorginized Immigration and Customs Enforcement have given considerable thought to scrapping the whole idea or foregoing passports in favor of special cards that allow residents, workers, and tourists accsess to the border. This next part is specualtion on my part, but I would imagine that if the measure has met with resistance here then its probably the same in other border cities such as San Diego and Laraedo. - Languages in Passports need better introduction, more about where the comitee was and what countries it was supposed to affect
- Maybe flip some of the pictures to the left side?

Its a good article but a few points which needs to be addressed.
- There are too many unnecessary subheadings use the ; to create bold text instead.
- The passport application process is absent. How does one apply for a passport in various countries?
- More references are needed.
- An interesting point: Kashmir is locked in a dispute between India and Pakistan each administering a portion of the territory. The two countries allow Kashmiri citizens to cross the Line of Control at a certain point without a passport as long as they stay within Kashmir's pre 1947 boundary.
