Columbia University edit

I've listed this article for peer review because I'd like to get it up to featured article quality eventually.

Comments from Yeeno edit

At first glance, per MOS:CITELEAD, you might want to look at (re)moving some of the citations in the lead, if they cite information that is repeated in the body. Yeeno (talk) 🍁 18:50, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comments from Z1720 edit

Hey, some passing comments after a skim:

  • MOS:SANDWICH needs to be removed
  • The transportation section has no citations.
  • Every paragraph should end with a citation, minimum.
  • What makes this (ref 40) a high-quality source? If it is not high-quality, remove it
  • This is a very large article. Consider summarizing some sections, removing unnecessary information, or WP:SPINOUT sections of the article.
  • Normally, I would recommend an FA article to serve as your template for improvements, but it looks like an article on a higher-ed institution hasn't passed FAC since 2009, and standards were a lot different back then. Amador Valley High School is a highschool that has been recently identified as meeting FA standards; I suggest reading it to get a sense of what an FA based on a school would look like.

I hope this helps! Z1720 (talk) 21:02, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
