The group decided to take these first edit-a-thon to focus first and foremost on getting aquanted with Wikipedia. As such the focus was not on editing Wikipedia, although that did happen, but rather on general questions about editing Wikipedia, its bureaucracy, and culture. Future edit-a-thons will have a greater focus on making additions to Wikipedia.
