Welcome to the donated artwork main page. It is an effort to acquire original portrait images for articles where no photograph is currently available.

Listing articles needing images

If you know of an article that requires an image, you may list it at List of articles needing images/Holding pen. However, please consider doing the following first:

• Search Wikicommons to be sure no image is available.
• See if a non-free image can be found.
• Check the page visit statistics. The list of articles needing images is intended for articles that get 10,000 or more monthly page visits and/or have a significant number of articles at non-English Wikipedias.
