Victoria Woodards is the current mayor of Tacoma, Washington, United States.[1] She formerly served on the city council for two terms.[citation needed] Woodards grew up in Tacoma and attended Lincoln High School and was later stationed at Fort Lewis while serving in the U.S. Army. She does not have a college degree.[2]

A former member of the board of Metro Parks Tacoma, she has also served as president of the Tacoma Urban League.[3] Woodards was elected as mayor in 2017 and her term expires in 2021.
