Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Mulalo Doyoyo. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 220 of Borg 04:15, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 05:12, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Amoriguard

edit

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Yyyj4, thanks for creating Amoriguard!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I think the article needs to be rewritten, and more sources are needed, but do please consider integrating Paint_recycling#Paint_recycling_by_country. Also, could you please clarify your realtionship to Doyoyo and Amoriguard.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

File:Amoriguard1.jpg

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. The thread is Mulalo Doyoyo biography. Thank you. Bri.public (talk) 17:45, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for your clarification of the situation at Talk:Mulalo Doyoyo. It is a pity, in my opinion, that nobody thought to give you a friendly message explaining the conflict of interest guideline and related matters years ago, so that you would have been fully aware of the issues involved. Almost all of us, when we start editing, don't know about Wikipedia's bewildering range of policies and guidelines, so that most of us make mistakes and do things which don't comply with those policies and guidelines. (I did when I started editing.) Some editors get warned about those mistakes early on, but unfortunately others are allowed to keep on editing, in all innocence and with perfectly good intentions, for several years, and then suddenly find themselves subjected to criticism over things that they had no reason to think were not perfectly acceptable. Speedy deletion nomination of Amoriguard

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Amoriguard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
