Late March 2011 Libyan rebel offensive refs

Hi! The references at Late March 2011 Libyan rebel offensive include some short tags from the original article that are not fully defined at the new article, so they show up as error ref tags at the bottom of the page. (190.247.185.253 (talk) 18:44, 2 April 2011 (UTC)).

Merging

Hi, you've merged Tomam and other articles to List of Siberian, Turkic and Altaic deities. Please remember that per WP:MERGE#Performing the merger, you are required to link to the source article in the edit summary of the merging edit, or else you do not comply with Wikipedia's atribution requirements and create a copyright violation. Could you please add the required attribution for the source articles to the article history? Otherwise the list may be deleted as a copyright violation. Thanks,  Sandstein  11:04, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

OK, I've deleted the list per your request. The problem is that our rules require us to attribute the text we copy from other pages, including other Wikipedia pages. (We are not allowed to copy from most websites at all, because of copyright, but we may reuse other Wikipedia pages.) When we copy text from other Wikipedia pages, we must provide a link to the page we've copied the text from in the edit summary of the edit with which we insert the text. That's explained at WP:MERGE#Performing the merger. Regards,  Sandstein  17:23, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Siberian, Turkic and Altaic deities

A tag has been placed on List of Siberian, Turkic and Altaic deities, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

unessaserry duplication of other active aticles

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Wipsenade (talk) 15:39, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Which zoo

If the zoo you lived by is Whipsnade Zoo (been there many times as a child) you have not spelt it right! SpinningSpark 16:24, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

I have lived near Whipsnade Zoo, Chessington Zoo, and in Eaton Wick, Slough and Banbury (which is no better than a zoo). Also, I had found out I had spelt my on-line name wrong since January. Wipsenade (talk) 17:08, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

You've also spelt Eton Wick incorrectly. I've just corrected 4 spelling errors in one relatively small edit which you have made recently to River Thames. We all make mistakes from time to time, but might I please recommend a little more care with your speling checkking?  :-) David Biddulph (talk) 19:07, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Flag of Mosquito Coast

A tag has been placed on Flag of Mosquito Coast, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. List of toffs

There's no need to create disparaging redirects like that one, so I deleted it. Happy editing, —Кузьма討論 17:06, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Editorial Comments

Your adding of editorial comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of wedding guests of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton was inappropriate. Wikipedia does not have an editorial board, no one person gets to stick up a big message dictating the terms of the discussion. Whatever your intentions, that kind of thing is not allowed, and as such, has been removed. Sven Manguard Wha? 15:08, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
