Jimbo's Page edit

  • Please keep good faith in your editing. That minor change was not vandalism or by any means nonconstructive. Jimbo expressly invites us to make minor changes to his user page. I was not acting outside of the bounds by making a minor grammatical correction to a user page with the permission of the user. You'll notice I have reverted your edit. Please let it remain this way. Reverting my change again would further flaunt the spirit of Wikipedia and be discourteous in general. Thank you, and welcome to Wikipedia. 74.207.139.170 (talk) 16:44, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
I was keeping good faith BTW! WhiplashInferno (talk) 16:46, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
I suggest that you read Wikipedia:Assume good faith. It may clear up your confusion. 74.207.139.170 (talk) 16:47, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps I should explain a bit more clearly, I didn't know whether Jimbo would want that edit or not so I assumed good faith and reverted it in case he didn't want it. An admin has allowed your edit and I apologize for any inconvinience. WhiplashInferno (talk) 16:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey! edit

I noticed that you made a redirect page. I just wanted to thank you for that! You forgot to do "#REDIRECT Article". That's completely okay. Again, thanks! Endofskull (talk) 20:41, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome and thanks for pointing out my mistake. Kindest Regards, WhiplashInferno (talk) 20:42, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. And thank you! Endofskull (talk) 20:43, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Yes I have abused multiple accounts in the past but have I abused this account? Personally, I feel that a user should be given a chance to make a good faith account to prove they have changed regardless of the past.

Decline reason:

This request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click the Edit tab at the top of that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = [[Article title]] =) and save the page before you improve it.
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 08:07, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Naughty Dog Engine edit

I would like to add more technical information to this article about the engine, which has gained significant popularity since the release of Uncharted 2. This website has a reference to the game engine and how it technically works and if unblocked, I would like to add some of this information (as well as some more I will find) to the article. Request reason:

I have familiarized myself with the basic rules and if unblocked, I promise to go by every single rule and I will stop socking and trolling. I have read the guide to improving articles and I am now determined to improve the Naughty Dog Engine article as well as any other articles I may wish to work on. Decline reason:

You were given a method of possibly becoming unblocked. Do not request unblock until you have actually completed those tasks. Please note that abusing the unblock request system may result in your talkpage access being revoked (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:43, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
