Untitled, Art. edit

Hello,

Our team has been editing our Wikipedia page, Untitled, Art. for a few weeks now, and our sources have been a main issue. A previous reviewer informed us about separating our website has a source which we did before submitted the article you reviewed. Your main comment is that the sources had to be independent of the subject, but all the sources listed are from major publications. I was hoping you could clarify why these sources aren't acceptable. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeffreyWalkowiak (talkcontribs) 17:48, 2 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Would you be able to more specifically explain why the BACI article was declined? I am absolutely willing to reword sentences that might seem too positive in order to avoid the appearance of bias. I also found more news articles that mention BACI. Would adding information from these articles and citing them improve the article, or should I wait until even more independent sources have discussed the organization? Thank you for your help! I am requesting a re-review for the biographical entry "Ali Dibadj". Reviewer said he does not meet "notability". Wikipedia guidelines for "notability" say the person must be "worthy of notice" or "note" or "remarkable" or "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention to be recorded." I respectfully submit that he does fit those criteria very well. Over the past 10 years, he has transformed companies in the generally entrenched consumer packaged goods industry with his objective, irreverent, bold analysis and writing (for instance, Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Energizer, etc.)--that is truly "remarkable" to push against the grain. "Worthy of note", being ranked the top analyst for 8 times in Institutional Investor is very "significant and unusual", especially from an underdog position of supporting shareholders versus large incumbent companies. Please reconsider him; he deserves to be recorded. Indeed, his track record stands much for what Wikipedia stands for--open, objective, accurate information dissemination. Thank you.

Problem with your AFC advice edit

This instruction to "remove" non-independent but reliable sources is wrong. In the future, please advise new editors to include independent reliable sources in addition to reliable affiliated sources. For example, there is no particular reason why a business or organization's own website cannot be used to support a sentence about who the CEO is or what year it was founded. Please may someone review this article. As pointed out when this article was declined the current re-direct is incorrect. GATCA is formed by part CRS and also includes AEoI, BEPS, TRACE and FATCA. GATCA is an acronym that has become common place within the financial industry and this is what our article is trying to show and inform people of. There will be of course some cross over from the re-direct due to CRS forming part of the overall GATCA acronym.

NPP edit

You have been sufficiently warned. Your AfC eviewing is a mess and people are having to clean up after you. NPP and AfD require even more knowledge and competence than AfC. If you continue to tag articles you will find your editing privileges greatly restricted. We won't tell you again. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:22, 8 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I haven't been involved in AfCs for a very long period of time already. I haven't patrolled new pages and commented on AfCs unless they are coming on my talk page. It's just that people keep on asking about AfC on my talk page. Tseung Kwan O Let's talk 08:34, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
So this wasn't you either? Please let us know who else is using your account. I think you should read this. We don't often point users to it but in some cases it helps.Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:11, 12 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your enquiry. I am the one and only one person working with this account. I uphold personal cyber info security to US Department of Defence standards, so it is literally impossible for somebody else to do anything wrong with my computers and my accounts, unless they've discovered an weakness in wikipedia's website instead of my computers and my networks. Please do not worry about my account's security issues unless it's a security issue of wikipedia as a whole.
Now, as for this page, Soros Fund Management has already moved out of that building. There are new tennants in that building now whose names are not included in that page. I think some other info are also outdated. That's why the outdated tag is placed. I hope you could understand why exactly the tag is placed. As for AfCs, I have not worked on AfCs for a month already. I currently do not have plans to resume work in that project.
Afterall, summer is the time when I need to intensely prepare new powerpoints and lecture notes for the next year and I'm quite busy to be honest. This could also be reflected by the drastic reduction in the amount of edits I do each day, no matter on my user page, wiki articles, or other wiki supporting pages. Thank you for your support! Your tagging is becoming problematic edit

I see that other editors have asked that you stop tagging for the time being; advice which you seemingly have chosen to ignore. Please at least stop randomly putting context tags on pages- examples 1 and 2. jcc (tea and biscuits) 10:07, 18 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Kindly review the article Farman Nawaz keeping in view the following pages that can be linked with it i.e. Border Times Pakistan, The Bannu Times ,Jirga Bannu, Daily Times (Pakistan), The Express Tribune, Hareem Farooq, Malala Yousafzai, Secularism in India, LGBT rights in Pakistan, Maulana Arshad Madani, Ubaidullah Sindhi, Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai, Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act of 2009, Murder of Farkhunda and China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.Sneha Hurrain (talk) 07:02, 11 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Snehahurrain, first, you have to fix the issues presented by the previous reviewers. Second, you have to actually submit the draft for review. As a direct reply to your comments above: what pages are linked your draft (or are mentioned in it, or link to it, etc) are wholly irrelevant to whether a person is notable. It's about what has been said about the person in reliable sources. Primefac (talk) 13:27, 11 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Review of Draft:Locky edit

Hello! I'm from WP:CSEC. I notice that you were the last reviewer to decline publication for Draft:Locky, and also that the draft is much more detailed than the co-existing stub Locky. Personally, I think the detail is sufficient for what this program was, and that it was a pretty notable and widespread piece of ransomware; it seems to me that it does meet WP:GNG and that the best course of action would be to merge the draft into the stub and be done with it. However, since I see it's been declined 3 times, I wanted to ask your opinion rather than ignore your review. Would it cause you pain if I were to merge the draft into the stub? --Falcon Darkstar Momot (talk) 02:19, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Falcon Kirtaran, Locky was accepted via AFC, so the fact that (for some inexplicable reason) a second draft exists means any information in the draft should be merged into the existing article. Good luck! Primefac (talk) 02:44, 29 September 2016 (UTC) (talk page stalker)Reply

Included the album's references that are independent of the album and the artist (for example, review from 'Bluegrass Situation' and radio charts). I do not know what else can substantiate independent references except for more reviews. Would it be helpful to include more reviews?

Hello, I'm a new editor. Just trying to edit the available drafts an learning how it works. Recently I came across Draft: Gokul Shrinivas , which was rejected by you. You had left a comment that you are in need of claims it seems. I have well edited that article now. But I can't include this particular link about Gokul Shrinivas- an article written by Reji Kumar Pillai who is the President of ISGF and well know industrialist in energy sector across globe for past 3 decades. I tried to whitelist, Got the whitelist page, But something is rejecting my request. Jonathan629, first off, Tseung Kwan O is no longer a draft reviewer. Second, yourstory.com is nothing more than paid advertising, it is neither reliable nor independent (people pay yourstory money to get a biography on the site). It will not be whitelisted, and you'll have to find a different source. Primefac (talk) 13:36, 30 January 2017 (UTC) (talk page stalker)Reply
