Handy tip about talk pages

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Read WP:OWNTALK. Users are allowed to delete comments off their own user page if they want. Because it's their own personal page the rules are different to the rest of wikipedia.Bosstopher (talk) 22:45, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Bosstopher. Just wanted to warn this user about it too. It is not worth edit warning on Users talk pages as it is against policy. It would be wise of you to disengage. Thanks Avono (talk) 22:49, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, ToonLucas22, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Stubs

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Please take care not to waste other editors' time by adding {{stub}} to an article which already has an appropriate specific stub tag. And please also note that stub tags go at the end of the article, not the top - see WP:ORDER. Thanks. 10:32, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Twinkle

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hi there! Thanks for your recent vandalism reverts! I thought I'd let you know that there's a handy tool that allows quick access to many functions, Twinkle. As you're autoconfirmed, you can use this tool, if you so wish. You can enable it in your preferences. Once you've enabled it, you should see a TW tab next to the "More" menu. Additionally, you can configure this tool on this page. Happy editing! George Edward CTalkContributions 17:09, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Please explain your revert of my edit

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Please explain your revert of my edit at Template:X-Men because you did not offer up any explanation besides "Was correct", which means almost nothing after my lengthy explanation in the previous edit summary, which I am fully correct about. I do not want to violate the 3RR or start an edit war, but I proved that she was a member and you deleted it almost immediately after I explained it, why? 71.121.241.118 (talk) 02:01, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

You didn't provide a link, which caused the edition to be incorrect. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 02:03, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
You can't put links in edit summaries, so how could I have done it? Like I said, it was referenced years ago in the edit summaries because references aren't used in templates, edit summaries are the only place to do it, which I did. It's not my fault the other user didn't go back and look far enough. It's proven on the talk page now, so she can be added back. 71.121.241.118 (talk) 02:13, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Don't restore removed comments

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hi, ToonLucas. I understand that your intentions were good, but you're mistaken about removing warnings.[1] Users are allowed to remove anything from their talkpage except denied unblock requests and a few other oddities. You should not restore posts that they remove. Note especially that edit warring to restore them is a really poor idea, and can get you blocked. See WP:BLANKING. Bishonen | talk 10:01, 9 January 2015 (UTC).

Do not edit others votes please

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Which part was the self promotion? I noticed that you reverted yourself later, but either way, you are not supposed to edit others comments or edits on talk pages. Hafspajen (talk) 10:15, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

That was a mistake. Sorry. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 12:27, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

I did not do it.

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} You gave me a warning. Here is my response:

That is strange. Honestly, I did not do it intentionally. When I tried to make a post, somehow I encountered an error, and then the Wikipedia Foundation(?) showed up. I went back and refreshed, but the templates were all gone! I swear I did not do it intentionally! I really don't know what happened! Can you excuse me for this incidence? 71.79.234.132 (talk) 01:01, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Oh, sorry for failing to assume good faith, when huge content gets deleted (specially on talk pages), I tend to take them very seriously and give the user who deleted the things a 4im warning level. But don't worry, the deleted content was restored. My apologies. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 01:04, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Your message

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Wait, what did you mean I edited/vandalized other messages? I didn't touch anyone else's stuff. I got an edit conflict, and I pasted my message back in at the bottom. Oh, and that *was* the reference desk I was asking on, thank you very much, so asking me to move my question there is a bit redundant. --Borat is very nice (talk) 01:19, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

@Borat is very nice: You replaced "cloud" with "butts" on other's messages, which was considered unconstructive and was therefore undone. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 01:20, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Oh my god...I am so sorry, I know why that happened. I'm using the Firefox extension "cloud to butt" https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cloud-to-butt-plus/. I didn't know that it would mess up wikicode too. Can I uninstall that extension and ask the question again? I also fixed your response, which the extension messed up too.--Borat is very nice (talk) 02:10, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
@Borat is very nice: You may wish to disable or uninstall that extension because it's messing up talk pages and main pages (and can possibly mess up the page Cloud too). You may also wish to report that extension to the Mozila Firefox developers to block it and prevent further irrelevant information on your talk page. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 02:24, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Already done, thanks. --Borat is very nice (talk) 02:33, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} I am not saying you are not allowed to do it. All I am saying is that it is a cowardish move to do that while we are in conversation, as you cannot back up your points. Vaselineeeeeeee (talk) 21:04, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

But I still have the right to delete sections from my User talk page, as told by WP:BLANKING. Please refrain from restoring this section any further. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 21:10, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
So you are pretty much agreeing that you are acting like coward and that you have no points to back up your argument and that it should remain. Vaselineeeeeeee (talk) 21:12, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Well, league information seems pretty much unnecessary to me, so it's best not to put that on football player pages. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 21:15, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
So what I am gathering is that only your opinion matters and not mine, so your opinion is greater than mine so you should be allowed to revert my additions but if I revert yours it is considered editwarring? Weird and unfair how that works isn't it? Vaselineeeeeeee (talk) 21:16, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
It's actually best to resolve the thing on the talk page rather than attempting to continuosly revert edits. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 21:18, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Could you please restore Andrea Pirlo and Alessio Cerci articles do what it was before the edit war without serie A. I could do it on my own but dont want to risk getting blocked for breaking 3RR or edit warring. QED237 (talk) 23:23, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

You tagged the image as soon as it was uploaded. Didn't even give me the chance to add in all the details. As well, you tagged it for deletion when you are supposed to use the tag below. Don't make hasty decisions like that. Very amateurish. WWE Batman131 (talk) 21:40, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Your edits at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hello ToonLucas22 (talk · contribs). Regarding some of your edits at the edit warring noticeboard, it appears that you are making decisions reserved for the administrator team. An example of such an edit can be found here. While we encourage outside input and thoughts from non-administrators, decisions regarding whether or not a violation took place and an appropriate response should be left to an administrator. The noticeboard is called "Edit warring" after all, meaning that we are not simply looking for violations of the three revert rule. Thanks for understanding, Tiptoety talk 23:42, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Unreliable contribution

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hitenray09 had submitted entire plot without any reliable reference . Instead of targeting me you should ask him where is his source. What i did was necessary as the user was submitting unsorced material--Frost The World (talk) 15:38, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Oh, but you could have put an edit summary anyways, something like "remove unsourced". --ToonLucas22 (talk) 16:03, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
It would not have been true to say "remove unsourced", because what Frost The World removed was not just the text but also the reference. As it happens, the text was a verbatim copy from the reference, and therefore a blatant copyright violation which would have been the correct grounds for removing it. I have warned Hitenray09. --David Biddulph (talk) 16:14, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Reply to comment on User talk:223.227.98.130

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hello, ToonLucas22
I do not understand why you removed my comment on User talk:Malik Shabazz. That administrator is a stupid little git who does not know anything apart from reverting others' edits, issuing warnings to innocent users, biting newbies, (just look at his contributions) and vandalising. Thanks, 223.227.98.130 (talk) 15:35, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

I removed your comment because it was uncivil. By the way he did not vandalize, he did just remove some nowiki tags which messed up the page. See WP:CIVIL and WP:UNCIVIL if you want to learn more about civil comments. BTW what you said about the administrator in your message to me is considered harassent. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 15:37, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
One, you reply to my message. Two, you take the trouble to see exactly what vandalism I was talking about. Three, you issue me not one, but two user warnings. Four, you even post a {{talkback}} template. Budding administrator, I see. Why don't you take some time off from this tomfoolery to go and improve some articles? People like you, as well as almost all of those administrators, are not here to contribute to the encyclopedia. 223.227.98.130 (talk) 16:12, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
ETA: Ah, I see why you (and others like you) cannot really improve articles, because you do not even know the spelling of 'harassment'. Regards, 223.227.98.130 (talk) 16:17, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
@223.227.98.130: I am not an administrator, I am just a normal user, and I'm here to fight vandalism, which counts as being here to build an encyclopedia. Please also take the time to see what "not being here to build an encyclopedia" is not. It also appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia, as you keep making uncivil comments. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 16:24, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
When I said that you are a 'budding administrator', I meant that you are aspiring to be an administrator. See, you misinterpret comments so easily, making yourself even more unfit for WP. By the way, you should yourself take a look at WP:NOTNOTHERE. I am here to build an encyclopedia because I am contributing to it in an indirect manner, by attempting to change your mentality, as well as that of others who may chance upon this page, by encouraging you to edit the articles rather than wasting your time. The page says that expressing unpopular opinions – even extremely unpopular opinions – in a non-disruptive manner counts as being here to build an encyclopedia. Thanks, 223.227.98.130 (talk) 16:59, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
I'm not aspiring to be an administrator either. BTW you are expressing unpopular opinions in a disruptive manner. From your contributions, at least 85% are pure uncivil comments, which appears to meet WP:NOTHERE. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 17:15, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
You are trying to to teach me civility, when you yourself don't have the civility to add "Thanks" or "Regards" at end of your posts. Best regards, 223.227.98.130 (talk) 17:54, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
People don't really need to put "Thanks" or "Regards" to their comments to be civil, do they? I mean, that applies to level 1 and some level 2 user warning templates, but not on every comment. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 18:01, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
Could you tell in what way I disrupted Wikipedia? I did not even touch any article after that first edit. I have made nearly a thousand constructive edits to Wikipedia, through other IP addresses and a user account. Of course, I have not logged in because I cannot risk being blocked for expressing these unpopular opinions:) Regards, 223.227.98.130 (talk) 18:29, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
You made an uncivil comment on User talk:Malik Shabazz, which was considered disruptive. Also, making edits on other accounts/IPs or editing while logged out from your account is considered sock puppetry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ToonLucas22 (talkcontribs)
Call me disruptive, or call me being not here to build an encyclopedia, but you cannot deny the fact that all those policies are written by people like you, people who share a similar mentality. Do you know that Malik Shabazz is an Islamic name, still the user claims to be a Jewish?
Again, you have now even forgotten to sign your post, showing exactly how great a editor you are. Anyway, it has been a pleasure talking to you, ToonLucas. If I had not initially made that comment on User talk:Malik Shabazz, then we would have never had this wonderful conversation. How do you think about this? You are a funny man, always replying to my comments and egging me on, even though I have meant nothing but fun. Bye. I am saying this now because the next time I check out this page, I may well have been blocked for making the decidedly uncivil comments. Good luck, 223.227.240.142 (talk) 04:37, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
I did not write any of these Wikipedia policies, and btw you could have used {{subst:Unsigned|ToonLucas22}}. I'm doing it myself, just so that you get it. So bye. BTW it looks like you changed your IP to avoid scrutiny. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 13:12, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: User:Andreas Werle

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hello ToonLucas22. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Andreas Werle, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: user is entitled to blank his own user-page without having it deleted. Tags in draft space

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hi! You removed a COI tag I placed (for good reason) on Draft:Tigran Maytesian‎, with the summary "Tags should not be added to drafts" – something I didn't know. Is that a policy or a guideline? I'd be interested to read about it - can you point me to it? (It would have been helpful to include a shortcut in your edit summary) Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 23:59, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

@Justlettersandnumbers: Well, since drafts are articles that have not been created yet, it's best not to tag them, just wait for someone to review it. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 01:36, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
That's your opinion, and you are entitled to it. But if you are going to undo another editor's work, you need a reason, not an opinion; it's also good practice to cite that reason in your edit summary. Is there any policy or guideline that you are aware of which forbids, discourages or even discusses maintenance tags in Draft space? I'm aware of course that such tags are not used in User space. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:22, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
If you can't cite the policy or guideline, perhaps you'd be good enough to restore the tag you removed? Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:20, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Reverting minor edit

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} Hi, you said in the edit summary that my reversion of a non-minor minor edit was a "bad reason for a revert". The reason I did it is because I had warned that user previously about minor edits, and they still keep doing it (all 2 of their edits). I did explain in my revert summary that the user should re-add the edit, and I would have done it myself if they hadn't (perhaps I should have added that to my edit summary). I thought that was the best way to try and teach the user that they need to be careful about making minor edits. If you have any better suggestions for what to do in future, let me know. --sciencewatcher (talk) 18:36, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Abner then, creating userboxes is a bit involved, but take a look at Wikipedia:Userboxes for more information. Alternately you can copy the code from an existing userbox and edit it to your specifications.
Using a userbox is pretty easy - once you find one you want (a list can be found here) simply add the code to your userpage - for example:

I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Shelton College, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. First, you should never apply a speedy 2 minutes after the article was created. Second, all that is required for an accredited college or high school is proof of its existence. No other notability need be shown. The fact that the author added referencing a few minutes later caused another editor to properly remove your speedy template. Please read WP:BEFORE. If you are going to mark an article for speedy deletion, you have the responsibility to see if there are references for its notability. Lastly, quick application of a speedy template is a bad practice as most authors of lower quality articles are new like yourself, which means that WP:BITE applies. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers, criteria for speedy deletion, and particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Thanks! Per WP:NPA, what you should do when you receive personal attacks (like the one you received), it's best to remove it and issue a level 1 warning (or 4im in blatant and/or grotesque personal attack cases). I already did myself, and issued the attacker a 4im warning. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 01:52, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Invalid deletion criteria

{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveNow}} You tagged Schooled: The Price of College Sports for speedy deletion with the reason "misuse of Wikipedia as a diary". It should have been clear enough that this article was about a film, and that the long, rambling section was, in fact, a scene-by-scene description of the film's action. The fact that the article was poorly written is not a valid reason for speedy deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:15, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Saint-saens-1875.jpg

Hi there. You thwarted my attempt to move File:Saint-saens-1875.jpg to Commons because of the "Do not copy this file to Wikimedia Commons" notice. But the notice continues "unless it can be verified to be in the public domain in its country of first publication". The picture was first published in France in 1875 and I believe that the drawing is in the public domain in France. According to Gallica the artist Paul Renouard died in 1924 and engraver Frédéric Florian, died in 1926. According to the table on the page Wikipedia:Non-U.S._copyrights#Specific_country_information the copyright in France is 70 pma. I therefore added the tag : "PD-old-auto-1923|1924". Copyright rules can become very complex but I thought this was a simple case. Have you any reason to believe my reasoning is incorrect? Many thanks. Aa77zz (talk) 15:31, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Please re=read WP:Deletion policy and WP:CSD

You cannot re-add a speedy tag, if it was removed by anyone other than the article creator. And in any case, anyone could ask that a G13 deleted article be restored,& it is restored automatically. If you want to challenge the continued existence of a Draft after a G13 tag is removed, you need to use MfD DGG ( talk ) 20:55, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

You told me something about making the webpage named "Transformers 5 (2016)" and here is my response:

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because... I just saw that no one has made this page. I have waited a long time, and the page never was made. I am sorry if I did something wrong by deciding to make one on my own. You can delete it if you want. But I really wanted to have the page. Rollback

Hi ToonLucas22. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Swarm... —X— 18:44, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of BLPs

I quote WP:BLPPROD: "Unsourced biographies of living people (BLP) created after March 18, 2010, can be proposed for deletion using a special proposed deletion process. To place a BLPPROD tag, the process requires that the article contain no sources in any form (as references, external links, etc.), which support any statements made about the person in the biography." So this distinction between references and external links is not supported by the relevant guideline. PatGallacher (talk) 20:16, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi ToonLucas22. I notice you have been reverting User:Kareflib's edits for being unconstructive. Thing is, he wrote that article. At this moment I myself am quite unsure as to how to respond to that, but I doubt he is being disruptive as the article was created by him and he might just be playing around with it.

User page vandalism

I also had my user page vandalized, but only once, particularly due to my lower activity, and it was my user talk page... To avoid user page vandalism, you can create a subpage that ends with .css or .js, store the user page contents there, and transclude it in your user page via {{User:ToonLucas22/userpage.css}} or {{User:ToonLucas22/userpage.js}}. CSS and JS subpages are intended to store user preferences, and hence they are protected to all except their author or users with the editusercss or edituserjs rights (typically admins). Also, you can even split the user page into multiple sections (example of this layout is here). — NickTheRed37 (0x54 · 0x43) 17:51, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

Use of rollback

Hi. Please remember to not use rollback against edits that are not obviously non-constructive, as you did here. Those changes may have merited reversion (I have no opinion on this), but any reversion should have included an adequate summary. You did include an "editing tests" summary, but those edits were obviously not tests. I'm not sure if that was an accident or something, but yeah, unexplained or incorrectly explained reverts are bad in general, but are really something to avoid when using the rollback tool. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 23:18, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Malayalam cinema

Well done for spotting the edit war on Malayalam cinema and attempting to establish what the problem was. I note that you gave a warning to one user, but not the other. There are times when a user is allowed to revert to keep out inappropriate content, and those occasions are outlined at WP:NOT3RR. If the edit war does not involve any of those occasions, then it is best to give warnings to both parties. This keeps things, fair, balanced and neutral. Warning one and not the other can sometimes inflame people, and also prevent you from assisting any further in the incident as people might sometimes assume you are biased. No harm done here. Just a note for the future. SilkTork ✔Tea time 19:20, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Look, I get where you're coming from, but we in WP:BASEBALL use those "minor league player" pages as an incubation zone for players who may meet GNG, but we're not sure that they do, or players who don't but soon might. Classified information Update

Hi,

I've just noticed that you rolled back my changes and didn't know why exactly. The definitions to the classification of documents is a field i work in directly and i was simply trying to update the contents of the page (which reference a severely outdated document from 2011) to the most up to date version which includes all internationally recognized classifications. Additionally, i added a second chart which included the "deprecated" classifications for reference purposes. Not exactly sure why you don't see this as a relevant update but ive included the link to the most up to date version for your review.

Proposed deletion of Waris Ali Bhutta

The article Waris Ali Bhutta has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Saqib (talk) 15:58, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

@Saqib: This actually seems to be a draft formerly on the user's talk page which wasn't sumbitted for review before move. I have reverted the changes and the move. --TL22 (talk) 20:05, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Waris Ali Bhutta

A tag has been placed on Waris Ali Bhutta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

I have a message about editing Rebel Wilson

I am not sure if this is were I should be leaving this complaint. So please excuse my mistake if I am at the wrong place and fwd this to where it needs to be. I am contacting you because you left me a warning about editing Rebel Wilson's page. And I never did No such thang. I didnt even know that was a possibility. Now don't get me wrong I am not blind. I do see the Edit in the corner of the highlighted areas throughout the pages. But I didn't think anyone could just edit pages or bios. cause when I on Wikipedia I am usually looking u[ someone's bio because I have read or seen something on line and I am looking them up on wiki to get a understanding of who they are. Or I am cross checking some information that I seen or heard. So that tells you right there that I don't know enough of anything about whom I am using Wikipedia to get the information on that person. And the warning I received in April was about someone I never even heard of. I had to stop reading the message that someone else left to look the person up on here to see whom it was. And as for Rebel Wilson, I did look her up a few weeks ago. Right after my daughter told my that pitch perfect had a sequel. But I didn't change any of her information or add to it. Please tell me what I can do to stop this false accusation. Due to the fact that I did Not do any of the 2 editing that was said I done. I need to know my next step to stop this from happening again. I love this website and its where I come to get my information on everything. Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.177.161.151 (talk) 02:41, 9 May 2015 (UTC)

I added some web archive references. Hope that helps. --TL22 (talk) 01:35, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

you just deleted my content because of personal attack. well im ok with it but then also remove the personal attack of Mr Sneeze A Lot, since he personally attacked me as well and just insinuated false things, indicating i were racist. this is personal attack as well--> delete this for personal attack too! greetingsJoobo (talk) 20:39, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

I don't see anything, nor you correctly specified. Please provide a diff of the comment of Mr Sneeze A Lot that you consider a personal attack. --TL22 (talk) 21:54, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Misplaced Articles for Creation

Toon, when you move a misplaced Article for Creation, you have to tell the creator. If you don't, they re-create it thinking that it was deleted as not good enough - note the edit summary on the revision. I think the articles fine, so I remove the AFC tags, so I'm not sure what is normally done with the Draft namespace pages when AFCs are promoted. Thanks, Oiyarbepsy (talk) 01:53, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

CallumCarey

CallumCarey only had one editor, who is the one that did the copy-paste move to Callum Carey. This is a bit of a quirk that most people don't know about, but the CC-BY-SA license system doesn't require the sole author to maintain attribution to his/her own work. As far as the license is concerned, it's no different from you working on something in your sandbox, blanking your sandbox, and pasting what you wrote into an article. It's good to be cautious, because if there is any copyrightable work, then we really need to keep it, but in this case, it's okay. WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:09, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
