Some advice edit

Hi Thedavidshow, Many thanks for your articles about Pall Mall Barbers and its founder. I wanted to share some thoughts about the articles. I see you have now added a few new sources. In order to establish notability and for articles to be neutral and verifiable, it is required that there is a general level of coverage about a topic in reliable and independent media. GQ and The Telegraph would be considered reliable, independent sources, however both mentioned Pall Mall Barbers just in passing, so this is insufficient. The other sources do appear related to the topic, i.e. Pall Mall Show as being an alumnus of an incubator or recipient of some funding that those sources provide. Please check WP:NCORP which gives good guidance on what is considered trivial corporate coverage and what may be reliable sourcing.
Also, if you are in any way related to the company, its founders, mentors or business partners (broadly defined), you may be subject to WP:COI and WP:PAID. If you have any questions, pls let me know. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 13:21, 28 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

Thank you for the fast response. I am, in no way, related to Pall Mall Barbers. The only reason that I wrote the Pall Mall Barbers article was in response to the reviewer nosebagbear suggestion that there was "more than enough" in terms of references to get a Pall Mall Barbers article approved and that it would be far easier than proving notability on its founder. So that's pretty much what I did. I took the time to research how to write such an article, created all new text, and used some of the references from the previous article and a few new ones. I will expand the article soon and include even more references. Thank you for your time.

Hi. Just to be clear, you are not Richard Marshall and you have no connection to him whatsoever (be it personal, business, real world or online)? --kingboyk (talk) 10:51, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

kingboyk I am unequivocally NOT Richard Marshall. In fact... as far as I can tell... I couldn't be LESS Richard Marshall. I am not employed by him and I have no connection to him whatsoever. I don't even live in London, England, the U.K., the U.S. or any country where any of his businesses are present. I just like creating articles... especially biographies... and if I start something I always see it through... without exception. This article has taken a little longer than usual because of health issues. But I do intend to see it through. Thedavidshow (talk) 11:28, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

I see. Thank you for the reply. --kingboyk (talk) 11:37, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
