Speedy deletion nomination of Berkeley ventures

edit

A tag has been placed on Berkeley ventures, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. mhking (talk) 21:45, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Admin, I would like to request that my IP address be unblocked. I had contacted the admin Nihiltres to userfy my page. He stated he had, and moved my page to my user page. I believed that it was ok to move it back to its original page, since it was now userfyed by an admin. If it is not ok, can an admin please assist me in userfying this page? If it is, can I please be unblocked and the page restored to www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_Ventures ? That would be much appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you soon so we can work something out and I can get my page up :). Tim (tdegrange) Tdegrange (talk) 10:01, 7 August 2009 (UTC)tdegrangeReply

Decline reason:

Marking this as "declined" for now to take it out of CAT:RFU. Feel free to request with {{unblock-auto}} as instructed below. PeterSymonds (talk) 21:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please copy and paste the autoblock message here. You aren't blocked and never have been according to this, but it is possible another person using your IP is. As for the article being userfied, it is here. – B.hoteptalk10:41, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

And, I hope you understand that you won't be able to write about your own company on Wikipedia; the message left on your other, blocked account -- Use talk:BerkeleyVentures -- explains the various policies you'll need to adhere too. --jpgordon::==( o ) 16:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
