Hi. In Manhunter (film), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page The Prime Movers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Bad Girls Club

You placed a "clarification" tag, do you need me to provide the year of season one? Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 16:54, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi Jona. No, there's no problem with the year of any of the seasons. Which clarification tag do you mean?. Best, --Stfg (talk) 17:09, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Hi :-) The one located at "Season's 1 and 2" (section). Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 17:14, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
I've put a new section on the article's talk page, to identify what clarifications I needed. I'll be out for about 3 hours now. May do more later tonight, otherwise in the morning. Cheers, --Stfg (talk) 17:51, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Replied, thanks will keep an eye out :-) Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 17:55, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Request

Hi. Can you take another c/e request under your belt? It is "If I Were a Boy". I want to take it to its first trial at the FAC by the end of this month. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 11:16, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Sorry Jivesh. From now on, other than classical music and wildlife, I'll only take requests from the GOCE requests pages. I'm winding down for Christmas now in any case. Good luck, and Happy Christmas. --Stfg (talk) 12:42, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
It does not matter. I also wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2012. May the new year bring much happiness and success in your life. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 12:44, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
And in yours. Thanks. --Stfg (talk) 12:48, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks and you are welcome. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 12:49, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Belated reply

Sorry about the delay in replying to your question.

I have been held up with issues to do with my accommodation, health and PC related problems, and still do not know if I am to remain in this flat next year. I will probably find out in the next few days, if the answer is no I will have to move and so am not running for GOCE coordinator this term. The September/October PC issue was nasty, I had to spend a couple of weeks reinstalling everything twice after a hard drive failure. That was probably the worst - at one point I think I counted as far as 300+ windows updates, some of which took 2 minutes, some of which took an hour or so!

The other issues are health related and have been debilitating, the result of long term arthritis in my back and shoulders. The situation had got much worse and I was not able to spend much time sat in a chair, hence my absenteeism. There were talks back in July/August about operations on my spine and a sudden turn for the worse at the end of October, coupled with the stress from the possibilty of losing my flat, left me a little pre-occupied. Though I still cannot sit here for more than an hour at a time, the new medication seems to be working - three weeks ago it was 20 mins sat up and I had to go lie down again.

I have watched a lot of TV and films though, even managing to watch the entire series of Stingray and Star Trek (original 3 series) as well as around 100 films. I am severely bored sh*itless with it all though lol! Hopefully things will take a turn for the better next year (fingers crossed) and I should be able to get back to more normal levels of 10-20 hours a week of Wikiwork

Many thanks for taking over the copyedit of the Rajneesh Movement - Interesting topic, but I took it on at the wrong time as everything got on top of me in the middle of November, just before I got the new medication.

Anyway, thanks once again and good luck with your nomination. I doubt you will fail, and hope you enjoy the role if you are elected :¬)

Merry Christmas! Chaosdruid (talk) 21:06, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Chaosdruid, I'm really sorry to learn that RL has heaped this stuff on you all at once. I hope you will manage to have a good Cristmas and that life in 2012 will treat you better. Simon --Stfg (talk) 22:11, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

ref problem

Ref 59 of the giraffe article has a broken link. The doi can clearly be found here but the template would link to it. Is there a way to fix it? LittleJerry (talk) 22:23, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

I'm puzzled by this. I'm seeing the same problem as you, and Google sends me to the same Wiley page you linked to. I've checked the DOI several times, as no doubt you have, to no avail. It might be worth waiting 24 hours to see if it's a system problem with the DOI that clears itself. Otherwise, the best I can think of is to dispense with the DOI, make a web archive of the Wiley page, and use url= and archiveurl= fields in the citation. Not perfect, but it's all I can think of right now.
In case this is our last before Christmas: have a good one and a properous year in 2012. Merry Christmas! Simon. --Stfg (talk) 23:49, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, you too. LittleJerry (talk) 23:56, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
One last thing. I made some more touches to the article. Would you be able to review and CE them before I re-nominatee? LittleJerry (talk) 04:58, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
With pleasure. It will be after Christmas now. I hope that's OK? --Stfg (talk) 08:54, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Okay. LittleJerry (talk) 17:30, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again

OTH -- lead

I have made a few minor changes to the lead. Opinion? Also, there are few things with the plot section I'd like to re-word, I haven't look at the history, so I don't know if you have changed anything. It's just a little bit of story I'd like to alter. Jayy008 (talk) 18:37, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

I will comment on the lead later. I have edited the plot section, but it's only copy edit. If you want to amend the story, please go ahead. It would probably help to avoid misunderstandings if you would consult the history. --Stfg (talk) 20:12, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
I have commented at User talk:Flyer22#OTH lead. Since it started there, let's keep it as one thread. --Stfg (talk) 11:31, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

:::I have no intention of clogging up Flyer's user-page any longer. So I will keep it brief here. "One Tree Hill was renewed for a ninth[8] and final season, with 13 episodes." To me, that doesn't make sense. What does with 13 episodes mean? It claims that there are already 13 episodes. "13-episode order" or "13-episode production order" indicated it could change, which it could have. It could have been made shorter or longer. I also believe we should clarify that Galeotti and Bush are signed for one year. Saying "they're signed" doesn't indicate they aren't contracted for more. Also what is wrong with "while James Lafferty will return" over "and James Lafferty will return"? These changes I don't see as wording-changes, a lot of it changes the meaning of what was originally written, that's the only reason I intervened, otherwise I would have completely stayed off. Jayy008 (talk) 20:24, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Re:GOCE request

Yeah, go ahead. No sense in having people work on material ear marked for deletion. I should apologize over at the GOCE page for wasting other people's time with my request. TomStar81 (Talk) 03:11, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Done, thanks. There's nothing to apologise for. You acted in good faith. --Stfg (talk) 12:07, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
