Reversion of my reversion on Khmer Rouge article

Hi, there is no sign of the "at length" discussion on the talk page of this article. Where is it discussed? I have the page on my watchlist because of a spate of vandalism a few years back and I've certainly seen nothing of this discussion. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 10:07, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

I take it that this non-response on your part means that you cannot point me to this discussion. If the image in question is not of the Khmer Rouge flag, what is the flag of the Khmer Rouge? Beeswaxcandle (talk) 23:03, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for the late feedback, I was tied up with other stuff. A summary of the discussion can be found here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/Image:Khmer_Rouge_flag.svg and Talk:Khmer_Rouge/Archive_9#Flags_for_all_occasions. 'Khmer Rouge' is an ambigous label, it could refer to the Communist Party of Kampuchea (which used plain red flags and red flags with hammer and sickle), to the DK state (which had a specific flag), to the later PDK or organizations close to the movement. --Soman (talk) 00:46, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

Ba'ath knowledge

Is Bashar al-Assad the national secretary of the national command???? I though his father was the immortal head?? this source refers to him as "national secretary" ... Do you know if that is ccorrect?? --TIAYN (talk) 12:17, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

I have no idea... maybe he was elevated to this post during the ongoing crisis in Syria. Maybe it is just a sloppy translation from Arabic. --Soman (talk) 12:27, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi

Hi Soman! What do you mean by Trotskyists not being ML? I think that is CP or Maoist POV... I was an activist with Trotskyist parties for a while and they were always Marxists and Leninists and Trotskyists... Againme (talk) 22:56, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

I see what you mean... Thanks, --Againme (talk) 04:29, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Help regarding Regional Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party – Syria Region

Again, I come asking for you... Would you have any clue about the Syrian Regional Secretaries before March 1966, and when they held office?? As it stands now its a complete mess... To take one example, Shibli al-Aisami is mentioned as Regional Secretary in few sources, but in others overlooked completely... Do you know anything on the subject? --TIAYN (talk) 22:12, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I have no such info. --Soman (talk) 22:16, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
