Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Schweiwikist! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 974 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

You are now a Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 21:40, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Up in the Air (film)#Plot edit

I like your edits to Up in the Air (film)#Plot. They make the plot summary more readable. However, I question whether your edit would be considered minor. --Dan Dassow (talk) 19:56, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

User:Schweiwikist/subpage/test3 edit

This page is showing up the CSD category as being tagged for deletion on CSD grounds, however I can find no such indication that you've tagged the page as such. I think, based on the log report, that something that you've got linked in the page is causing it show up in the csd deletion category; you may want to look into this before someone else axe's the page. TomStar81 (Talk) 22:47, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome. For what its worth, the saving grace was the mandatory look at the log before deletion; after the page was restored in its entirety I figured that this was not actually up for deletion, which is why I left the message in the first place. I hope you get the issue worked out soon. TomStar81 (Talk) 08:00, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:52, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

User:Schweiwikist/subpage/test2 edit

I hope you don't mind, but I fixed this page, and simplified it as well. Basically, it's better to use the mediawiki {{#time:}} parser function (you can read about the syntax on the extension help page) to do actual date arithematic. The problem is that when you reach the end of the year, you can't just say CURRENTYEAR/(DOY + x), since x days ahead won't be the current year anymore. The cool thing about the parserfunctions is that they will even do the "weekday" prefix for you. You may see me fixing your other subtemplates as well. Again, I hope you don't mind. current events edit

I have been cleaning up some of the rarely used templates and noticed that several could be eliminated if we use "#time" in the current events portal pages, like this. do you see any problem with this? thank you. Frietjes (talk) 16:42, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

great. I may also tweak the "self-destruct" code too. currently, it looks like it only shows the "db-g7" for a single day. if no admin kills it, it will never get deleted? see Portal:Current events/Calendar/2012/192 for example. thank you again. Frietjes (talk) 21:52, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I believe {{#time:F Y|{{#time:F Y}} +1 month}} }} always works, while the simple {{#time:F Y|+1 month}} does not. I posted a note at WP:VPT and created a fairly complete demonstration of input dates here. let me know if there are any corner cases that you think I am missing.
