Milton, MA

Hey why are you changing the statement that many of the people with Irish descent reside in east milton. We talked to the wikipeida people and gave our sources and they gave their consent. I don't know what you mean by the "wikipedia people", but the statement that East Milton is more "Irish" is completely unverifiable. The previous source that did exist at the page did not provide anything to back up your claims. Remember the policy: The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. Mr. SaintCyprian, Thank you for keeping these pages updated and honest. Thank you for monitoring these pages and keeping punks from Vandalizing these pages. In regards to your deleting the line many irish from milton reside in the east milton neighborhood. I think that statement should be included in Milton's history afterall it is the most Irish American town in America per capita. I have had this discussion with numerious people who monitor this site and after talking with them, and discussing this topic we have come to a conclusion that it should stay. On Dec 31 -ADJ who has also done and continues to do a great job monitoring the sites he has does an exceptionally good job on Cape Cod. He asked to site some demographical statistics "all you need to do is post a clear reference to some reliable source to back you up (such as the elementary-school data you refer to) when you post strong claims about the demographics of Milton; "anyone who lives there knows it" isn't a helpful enough reference. I agree with Ajd here; the "anyone who lives here knows it" argument doesn't comply with wikipedia standards for inclusion. Info about the "irishness" of East Milton should not be included in the intro and should be verfiable. I do have to be honest with you, I don't think it is verifiable information, in that I haven't found any reliable sources that support it. In truth, I do question the motives of people who are eager to include this information, perhaps there is a lack of neutrality here? Side note: in future, please remember to sign your posts. I also agree with user:ADJ " anyone who lives here knows it " should not be used as substantial evidence. I also can come to a conclusion that it does not need to be noted it the opening paragrapgh. I just thought it would be fitting to put the statement there becuase it therefore mentions the epodunk statistics. After asking for the elementary school data and it was given user ;ADJ allowed that statement to stay for the past 3 months. Can we come to some sort of middle ground here? I do not ask for it to be noted in the opening paragraph.

I am uncertain of what you mean by a middle ground. If information has a reliable and verifiable source to back it up, and if that information is relevant and of a neutral point of view, it can be included. The data I provided was not based on people's last names. It was based on demographics which I cited and it  was completely veriable. Demographic data was asked for and it was provided. This matter was previously settled. Muninet guide gets there data from the United States consensus, I do not know how you say that it is unveriable. I think you do a good job momitoring sights I just think you are taking this a bit too far.
